MAMAGREEN™ was founded by two Belgians: Erik De Winne and Vincent Cantaert. Starting their furniture manufacturing company in Java, Indonesia in 2001, producing teak outdoor furniture, Erik leads the Sales Team while Vincent heads the design department, both heavily focused on the ultimate end result.
The MAMAGREEN™ brand was launched in 2007 and introduced on the Australian, European & American markets in 2008.
MAMAGREEN™ stands for contemporary eco-chic design. MAMAGREEN™ uses mainly environmentally friendly materials such as; recycled teak wood, coming from old construction materials, railways and house. These recycled materials are combined with Stainless Steel, durable polyfibers and reliable outdoor fabrics. Pure minimalist shapes and natural untreated materials work to create unique furniture pieces of comfort and beauty.

MAMAGREEN™ selected and uses the following materials in their collections:
Recycled Teak - reclaimed from building and construction materials, old houses and railways. Teak is a close grained and oil-rich hardwood, it is especially stable in its recycled form. Recycled teak is truly unique in character with every piece having variations. Colour differences, knots, small cracks are a result of natural growth, air drying and evidence of a past use. Highly skilled workers manually hand grade the wood and produce the rough-smooth finish that gives our teak that special tactility.
Stainless Steel Grade 304 - high quality stainless steel, excellent strength, tough and long lasting, highly suitable for outdoor furniture. Creates a contemporary feel when combined with recycled teak.
Rehau Synthetic fibers - durable handwoven fibers, UV, mildew & shock resistant
