Our metal planters have a fresh contemporary feel, they will make a substantial and dramatic look to your space, but are light enough for easy mobility. These metal planters have been hand crafted by a group of artisans that specialize in the design of metal work to create versatile and attractive designs. These garden planters can be purchased unfinished, and placed in your garden to let mother nature take her course, or you can get the metal containers in a variety of powder coated finishes. Also available in aluminum, our metal planters stand out as something different, as well as a piece of art.
Our containers are made out of 14-gage mild steel. 14-gage is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick. According to US Steel, the rate of deterioration of unfinished steel in an exterior environment is the loss of ½ the thickness, or 1/32 of an inch, in ten years. Therefore, one could assume 18-20 years before any rusting through could occur.
All of our containers come with drain holes and intend on being directly planted in. It is not necessary to use grow pots, however, some of the designs have been fit with interior shelves to hold grow pots and saucers or to reduce the amount of soil needed to fill the containers if one chooses to do so.

Warranty
Both our Powder Coated Aluminum and Natural Rust Steel products have a 5-year limited warranty on their structure.
The finish on the Aluminum Powder coated containers have a 3-year limited warranty. There is no warranty on the finish of Steel Powder-Coated products. The warranty does not cover loss of theft, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions, lightening, or natural disasters. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear. Damage caused by impurities or acts beyond our control are not covered. Any product or part that has been repaired or altered, unless previously authorized by Backyard Guru, Inc., will void warranty. This warranty does not allow recovery of incidental or consequential damages such as loss of use, damage to property, or other consequential damage, and Backyard Guru, Inc., accepts no liability for such damage.
