Shipping
At Backyard Guru, we will do our best to provide you accurate shipping quotes. Occasionally, our preferred shipper, either UPS or FedEx declines delivery of our items because of that item being oversized or overweight. In that event, we will have to price out the shipping cost by truck to a residential area. We will make sure by phone or email confirmation with you that you approve the shipping charges. If we do not contact you by phone or email regarding shipping, the price and method of shipping you chose during checkout will be accurate.Essentialy, if the size and/or weight of the product is too large to allow it to be shipped by regular delivery service providers, such as FedEx and UPS, the product will be delivered via truck freight. After the product is delivered to your location, it is a customer's responsibility to unload it from the back of the truck.
To ensure that the product you receive is free of any damage please inspect the package at a time of delivery. If the product appears to be damaged please clearly identify it by writing "PRODUCT IS DAMAGED" on the sheet that you will be asked to sign. Otherwise your product or its damaged parts would not be replaced. In case when the ordered item is very large or/and heavy please make sure that you have enough people to be able to unload it from the delivery truck. For an additional fee most truck freight companies will help you to move the item from the truck into your house. To order these additional services, please contact us.Though we do our best to place orders in an expedient manner, at times, especially during peak season from May through September, certain items become back-ordered and shipping times generally take longer. In these situations, we will do our best to communicate with you accurately about the timing of your shipment.
Also, please note that the estimated shipping time you chose is calculated from the time the warehouse ships the item and not necessarily from when you place the order online.
In any event, we greatly appreciate you, our customers, and will do our best to fulfill your orders swiftly and accurately.
Returns
At Backyard Guru, we are confident the quality of our merchandise will meet, if not exceed your expectations. If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply follow the instructions below. You may return any item purchased on our website within 20 days of purchase date due to damage. Pending inspection, a refund or credit will be issued to you for the value of the item including taxes. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Please call Customer Service at 866-957-3059 for return shipping instructions.

Cancellations
Backyard Guru will allow for the cancellation of an order prior to shipment. To cancel an order for which you have not yet received a shipment notification, please call Customer Service at 866-957-3059.
